Michael Lisboa, who left Dentsu Mobius after a short stint last year, has emerged at a new venture announced by Havas Worldwide today.

Lisboa, the former creative director of Dentsu Mobius, takes on the role of director of experience for the newly launched Havas Drive, a digital transformation team based in Bangkok.

Havas Drive is described as a team of “makers, thinkers and doers” with skills in design, data, strategy, coding, mobile and experience. The “agency within an agency” is geared to working with clients to “innovate, build and prototype cutting edge solutions to solve clients brand challenges.”

Havas Drive will provide a “floating resource” to give the network’s APAC markets access to talent without the need to invest upfront at a local level, according to the agency.

Also on the Havas Drive team are Tommy Korad, who joins from RG/A New York as digital design director, Chris Corney from MRM Singapore as data and digital director, Ogilvy’s Badee Somboonpakron as senior technical director, and Lowe Profero long-timer Andy Griffin as creative and innovation director.

Havas Drive will be led by Jeff Lippold as regional digital director, APAC.
